Ryan Field Athletic Training Room Sign

Located just beyond the north end zone of Ryan Field, this one-of-one Northwestern Training Room sign marked one of the most important behind-the-scenes spaces in Wildcat football.

For decades, the training room served as a constant hub of activity on game days—where Wildcats were taped and prepared before kickoff and treated throughout the physical grind of a Big Ten season. Just steps from the field, players and athletic training staff passed this sign countless times while preparing to compete inside Ryan Field.

Featuring the distinctive old school Northwestern Wildcat logo and classic purple-and-black design, the sign's scratches, marks and visible wear remain part of its character—evidence of its years of service inside the stadium.

Removed from Ryan Field during its historic redevelopment, this authentic North End Zone Training Room sign preserves a piece of the working environment that supported generations of Northwestern football players.

A rare artifact from a part of Ryan Field few fans ever had the opportunity to see.
